For the first time, the Oscars and Carnival took place on the same day. And Brazil was on the verge of winning its first Academy Award with I'm Still Here, a film about the country’s dictatorship.
So Apple turned this historic moment into samba—a tribute to two art forms once censored in Brazil: Cinema and Carnival.
Shot entirely on the iPhone 16 Pro, Brasil em Cena is a poetic celebration of Brazilian culture, featuring an original samba-enredo by Jair Oliveira, performed by Nilze Carvalho.
Premiering during the Oscars broadcast on Rede Globo, the largest television network in Latin America, the campaign showcased Apple’s cutting-edge Audio Mix technology—capturing every beat, lyric, and rhythm with pro-level clarity.
